ARCC Annual General Meeting 2025

Celebrating 25 years of empowering Asian and minority communities in South West London, ARCC held its 2025 Annual General Meeting on Thursday 20th November 2025 at the prestigious Grand Sapphire Hotel & Banqueting.

Guests were given an overview of our wide-ranging projects, key achievements over the past year, and our strategic direction as we continue to strengthen our role as a leading community infrastructure organisation.

The AGM brought together individuals, community organisations, local businesses, and statutory partners from across the borough, reflecting the depth of collaboration that underpins ARCC’s work. We were privileged to welcome a distinguished lineup of speakers, including:

  • Executive Mayor of Croydon, Jason Perry

  • Civic Mayor of Croydon, Cllr. Richard Chatterjee

  • Deputy Civic Mayor of Croydon, Cllr. Mohammed Islam

  • Professor Tushna Vandrevala, Kingston University

  • Shadab Ahmed, Interim Head of Improvement, Adult Social Care Policy & Improvement, Croydon Council

Their contributions highlighted the importance of partnership working, community empowerment, and the collective efforts required to address inequalities across Croydon.

A key milestone announced at the AGM was ARCC’s upcoming move to our new Community Space at the former Broad Green Library, opening in January 2026. This dedicated hub will enable us to expand our services, strengthen our community programmes, and provide a vibrant, accessible space for local residents, partner organisations, and future initiatives.

The event also marked the official launch of ARCC’s new logo and refreshed brand identity, symbolising our evolution as an organisation and our commitment to innovation, visibility, and continued service to the communities we support.
