Influencing health and social care in Croydon
How can Croydon’s voluntary, community and faith (VCF) organisations have a stronger voice in the decisions that affect our communities?
Health and social care services in Croydon are coordinated by the One Croydon Alliance - a partnership of the Council, NHS bodies and the VCF Sector. A group of eight sector leaders have come together to form the VCF Sector Leadership Board. Its role is to represent the views and needs of the wider sector around health and social care services. This is the mechanism through which the VCF Sector has influence in local decisions about health and social care.
The Leadership Board is now looking at how it can do this better – and wants to hear directly from the organisations it represents.
We’re inviting senior leaders from VCF organisations working in Croydon to a two-hour workshop facilitated by Emma Baylin and Lev Pedro from Shared Purpose.
This is your opportunity to help shape:
the issues you want the Leadership Board to champion
how organisations across Croydon should be represented
how you want to be involved and have your voice heard
how the Leadership Board should communicate with and be accountable to the wider sector.
This will be an interactive session where we want to hear about your experiences, your priorities and what would make sector representation work for you.
