Unfolding Layers

Healing in Depth - culturally appropriate therapy, we are dedicated to providing mental health support that is culturally meaningful, respectful and accessible to South Asian communities.

We understand that mainstream mental health services often do not fully address the unique challenges faced by South Asians, such as cultural stigma, language barriers and a lack of culturally sensitive spaces. These challenges can prevent individuals from seeking the support they need.

This project is supported by Croydon Council through its Counselling in the Community grant programme, which is dedicated to addressing gaps in existing counselling provision across the borough.

What we offer?

In direct response to this growing need, we are offering individual counselling and group therapy, creating a familiar and supportive environment where participants can feel safe, heard and understood.

By offering group therapy, we aim to make mental health support more accessible by reducing the barriers that have long prevented South Asians from seeking support. We are committed to nurturing greater understanding of mental health within the South Asian community, challenging stigma and providing pathways to recovery that honour the cultural identities and experiences of those we serve.
