ARCC New Community Centre Launch!

The official launch of our new community centre was held on Thursday 5th February 2026 and a huge success! The ribbon-cutting was led by the Executive Mayor of Croydon Mr Jason Perry, alongside the Civic Mayor of Croydon Cllr Richard Chatterjee and Deputy Civic Mayor of Croydon Cllr. Mohammed Islam.

It was wonderful to welcome partners, community members and supporters to celebrate this exciting new chapter. A big thank you to everyone who joined us, your presence and support made the day truly special.

Our vision is to deliver a wide range of services and activities that meet the real needs of the local community. Some of our plans include:

ARCC’s approach emphasises flexibility, inclusivity and sustainability, ensuring that the centre remains a valuable resource for years to come by improving the building’s accessibility, being environmentally responsible and making sure we reflect the needs of disabled residents, families, young people, elders and underserved communities.
